Our Story

Built on a
Simple Belief

Dignity isn't given. It's delivered. In person, by hand, on time. Every visit intentional, every rupee accountable.

A business leader who believes opportunity begins with dignity. Sameer connects his professional world of staffing and workforce solutions to the foundation's mission of reaching those still far from the door.

"It is stated in the Bhagavad Gita by Lord Krishna that one must serve without expectations. One must perform one's duties but is not entitled to their fruits. The Nigama Foundation embodies this principle, investing in change with hope for a better world."

Built for Those Left Behind

Sameer Penakalapati has spent his career connecting people to opportunity. As CEO of Indotronix Avani Group, a US-India staffing firm, he's placed thousands of professionals into work that changed their trajectories. But staffing serves those already at the door. Nigama Foundation exists for those still far from it.

Founded in Hyderabad, the foundation carries his conviction that opportunity begins with dignity: a classroom with an auditorium, an elder with company, a student with a counselor who listens. The numbers on this site are that principle, delivered. Nigama Foundation serves as the philanthropic arm of both Indotronix Avani Group and Ceipal.

Why We Exist

We believe dignity isn't given. It's delivered in person, by hand, on time. Nigama Foundation works across Hyderabad, Vizag, and Chennai to educate young people who lack supplies and infrastructure, care for both the young and the old who've been left behind, and build the physical backbone โ€” classrooms, water plants, and supply lines โ€” that makes both last.

Three pillars. One promise. Every rupee arrives as something you can touch.

Delivery over declaration

We measure ourselves by what arrives, not what we announce.

Specificity over scale

One name, one classroom, one delivery at a time.

Consistency over campaigns

Quarterly drives, not one-time gestures.

Dignity as the standard

Every action is judged by whether it preserves the recipient's dignity.

Governance Structure

Nigama Foundation operates through four distinct layers of leadership and service โ€” each with a defined role in carrying the mission forward.

Governance Board

The core governing body that oversees the foundation's mission, finances, and strategic direction. Accountable for ensuring every rupee serves the purpose it was given for.

Ambassadors

The face of the organization. Each ambassador owns one or more programs end-to-end, champions the foundation's legacy, and ensures the mission is visible beyond the field.

Executive Volunteers

Senior contributors who translate strategy into field action. They work toward executing program objectives and bridge the gap between the board's direction and on-the-ground delivery.

Program Volunteers

Enlisted members who work the mission directly โ€” part-time or for the full life of a program. This is where impact is made, one visit, one supply kit, one conversation at a time.
