Education delivered in person — Nigama Foundation

Dignity, Delivered.

We believe dignity isn't given. It's delivered in person, by hand, on time. Nigama Foundation works across Hyderabad, Vizag, and Chennai to educate young people who lack supplies and infrastructure, care for both the young and the old who've been left behind, and build the physical backbone — classrooms, water plants, and supply lines — that makes both last.

"One must serve without expectations. The Nigama Foundation embodies this principle, investing in change with hope for a better world." — Sameer Penakalapati, Founder

About Us →

Three Pillars. One Promise.

Each pillar targets a different gap: from the classroom to the care home to the communities we build for.

Pillar One

Educate the Young

An auditorium built at Uravakonda Jr College. Computers and exam planks at GVMC High School, Vizag. Fifty children sponsored every year with uniforms and supplies. Education needs infrastructure. We build it, stock it, and stay.

Pillar Two

Care for Every Age

Growing old — or growing up with no one in your corner — should not mean growing invisible. We bring care to seniors and youth alike: quarterly drives, essentials, companionship, and the consistent attention that turns a visit into a commitment.

Pillar Three

Build What Lasts

Programs end. Buildings, water plants, and supply lines don't. An auditorium at Uravakonda, computer labs at GVMC High School, water filtration for flood-hit communities — pillar three is why pillars one and two survive us.

Project
Parivarthan

In a junior college classroom in Kurnool, a sixteen-year-old asks a question he's never said out loud: how do I stop being on my phone at 2 a.m.? That question is why this exists. Parivarthan is Nigama Foundation's flagship mental health initiative — reaching India's youth before a crisis does.

Clean water delivery to schoolchildren — Nigama Foundation
Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh · June 2025

Clean Water, Delivered.

In June 2025, Nigama Foundation installed a water filtration system at a government school in a village near Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. For years, students had been drinking from an untreated borewell. The water looked clear. The effects were not.

The new filtration unit now delivers clean drinking water to over 300 students every school day. No more students going home with stomach infections. No more parents choosing to pull kids from school because they kept falling sick.

"The children used to complain of stomach pain almost every week. Since the filter was installed, we have not had a single case."
